About Jamie Bovay (The Movement Jedi)...
Jamie Bovay is Denver’s leading Physical Therapist who helps people in Denver quickly recover from injury so they can stay active in their favorite sport/hobby, exercising, and fully enjoying life. While he originally wanted to work with professional athletes, after working with several and over time he has figured out that the everyday adult is a lot more interesting and fun to work with.
He founded KinetikChain Denver when he wanted to create a different way to provide patient care and rehabilitation. Frustrated with the models of clinics seeing 3 or more patients an hour and PT techs or aides, who have no medical experience, doing much of the care he knew there was a better way. He started KinetikChain Denver with the idea of giving extended treatment times and one on one individual treatment with pinpointed home exercise plans designed specifically for the individual and their goals in order to receive the best results. By doing this he believes he can get to know the individual better and be the provider that everybody wants and deserves instead of just the provider they get.
Jamie focuses on hands on care and blends other treatments in like manipulation, dry needling, kinesiotaping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and many others to help get you back to what you want to do. Because of the personalized attention, great care, and word of mouth referrals KinetikChain Denver has evolved into the preferred provider for several gyms, teams, and clubs in the area as well as countless families and individuals. He also knows that rehabilitation doesn’t have to be all serious and it’s ok to laugh and have fun. Our thought is that smiles and laughter should be part of every interaction.
As far as Degrees go he has those as well. Jamie Graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Chemistry for undergrad and later graduated from Rockhurst University with a doctorate in physical therapy.
Additional certifications include:
Manual therapy certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
About Krystyna Holland (The Movement Magician)
Krystyna’s journey as a provider started as a patient. Frustrations with her own medical treatment, including feeling unheard, short appointment times, and one-size-fits-all treatment have inspired her to go the extra mile when it comes to empowering her patients to be an active participant in their healthcare, starting in their physical therapy sessions.
Knowing that pain can interrupt all aspects of your life she works with you to craft individualized care plans to get you back to moving the way you love with the people you love.
In addition to being an orthopedic expert, Krystyna has specialized education in pelvic floor and women's health physical therapy. She is passionate about getting women, especially moms, the treatment they deserve, knowing that often times everyone else's health becomes the priority, and believing that we can do better in maternal healthcare. She can treat leaking and pain regardless of whether you are 2 months, 2 years, or 20 years postpartum. No topic is too taboo - Krystyna strongly believes that if we know better, we can do better.
New to Denver, Krystyna is thrilled by the mountains and the warm feel of the city and its residents. Krystyna is a dancing queen, with more than 15 years of ballet training, and loves barre classes and yoga. She has recently gotten into weight lifting and things strength training is better than coffee. She loves to hike and is thrilled to upgrade from east coast to Colorado mountains this ski season. She graduated from The College of William and Mary with a degree in Kinesiology and Georgia State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
